As part of the LEDP project, with support from NABARD, CIDA organized an exposure visit to the Chanderi Handloom Cluster for 60 SHG women from Sironj, offering practical learning on advanced weaving techniques, design innovation, and cooperative management. Participants interacted with master weavers, visited production units, and observed marketing practices. The visit expanded their understanding of handloom enterprise sustainability and inspired confidence in developing their own collective businesses. It also highlighted the importance of quality improvement and networking to strengthen the Sironj weaving ecosystem.
